One of the most significant observations I have come to make in animism is the presence of grace in all things, the one exception being humanity. Grace is something we have yet to achieve as being, and only in our passing from the natural world to the spirit world.. only by the loss of our physical being, do we attain it.

Even more curious, is that it is not our physical being in all its flaws and limitations that hold us back from grace, but that we have confined our spirit and mind to it while living. Everything outside of humankind exists with grace, even that which our eyes perceive as chaos is actually quite calculated in the universe.

Grace is not devoid of failure, but what seperate us from it is that we fill our lives and ambitions with intention, whereas grace is movement by and of purpose.
